| Description |
English: A Forest controversy. This sign illustrates a burning issue in "The Vorest". The Forest of Dean, as well as being an urban industrial area and forest is also an area of common grazings. Sheep wander freely throughout much of the woodland, as if it were a moor. Unfortunately some people living within the forest object to their gardens being raided or even droppings on the roads. They had hoped that the complete slaughter of the flock during the foot and mouth epidemic had solved the problem, but the sheep returned. There has even been talk of abusing Antisocial Behaviour Orders against shepherds.
