Description
English: In May 1941 The Silver Thimble Fund donated two mobile bacteriological laboratories to the Royal Army Medical Corps. This image of one of the laboratories was taken at the presentation event at the Royal Army Medical College in London on 6 May 1941 by Captain Console. Miss H. E. Hope-Clarke, OBE (second from left) and other representatives of The Silver Thimble Fund with Lieutenant General Sir William Porter MacArthur (Director General Army Medical Services) and Major General H. M. J. Perry (Director of Pathology).
