Summary
editDescriptionA Haugh in Glen Clova - geograph.org.uk - 1743749.jpg |
English: A Haugh in Glen Clova Glen Clova has a flat floor, partly as a result of glaciation, but also in part the flood plain of the River South Esk. This is probably why there are few farms on the floor of the glen; our ancestors had enough sense not to build on land prone to flooding. On the left is the slope of Ben Tirran, then White Hill, and on the right, beyond the steep glen of the Kennel Burn, is Finbracks. |
