Description
English: From source, Photograph of the Ranik Devi's Temple from the east in Wadhwan, Kathiawar, Gujarat, taken by Henry Cousens for the Archaeological Survey of India Collections: Western India 1898-99. Ranik Devi is a small temple that stands just inside the walls of the town on the north side towards the eastern end. This photograph shows the shikara, or tower, and richly carved doorway; the porch or mandapa are no longer extant.
