A Medieval vessel fragment
Description
English: A fragment of a copper alloy possible cooking vessel dated to the Medieval to Post Medieval period (c. AD 1100-1800). The fragment is of the vessel's rim, which has a slightly pronounced lip and an incised line 3.87mm below the lip. The line of the lip and the incided line below this are also apparent in the inside of the rim. The fragment has a dark green patina and patinated breaks. The overall dimensions are as follows: 12.03mm in length, 14.8mm in width and 1.65g in weight.
