Summary edit

Description
English: The lush vegetation of Mt. Kitanglad Natural Park in Bukidnon homes to this very rare flora species of Rafflesia. From a very young bud that sprouted unknowingly in the tropical forest floor, the bud transformed into a giant red flower composing five petals covered with white spots. The foul smelling flower attracts flies responsible for pollination.
