Description

An uncommon, seasonal bird that migrates from Central Asia during winters. They are supposed to be in 1000's, but due to some significant weather changes in October, not many birds are seen. The excessive rainfall also resulted in changes in crop harvesting and new crop schedule which I suspect had a significant impact on these birds. The birds are drawn to the wide open paddyfields in the countryside and their peak arrival times coincide with new crop that is harvested after a few months. This time round, the crop is currently being harvested now impacting several migratory birds.
