English: A Welcome Innovation - A Tir Gofal Path This Tir Gofal path allows the walker to descend down to the Nantlle road a little to the west of Ffridd Farm. It considerably shortens the walking distance as compared with the previous trek in the direction of Llanllyfni. Tir Gofal paths are not shown on OS maps because the concession is given only for 5 or 10 years at a time. Maps of all such paths are available in the Countryside Access section of the following bilingual web site - http://www.ccw.gov.uk/ |
