editDescriptionA cave in Twll Bwgan cove - geograph.org.uk - 1060438.jpg |
English: A cave in Twll Bwgan cove This small cove, as the name suggests. is reputed to be haunted. Twll Bwgan means "cavity of the bogey/ghost". Some say the story of ghostly apparitions in this sheltered, hidden, cove, with its own convenieny cave, was the invention of smugglers and was designed to frighten away a credulous peasantry. Others disagree, and talk of recent ghostly sightings at this locality. |
