Summary edit

Description The Orangerie is a delightful little museum on the Tuilleries in Paris between the Louvre and the Musee d'Orsay; it is really a hidden gem. It was closed for a number of year. Since it was another freezing grey day I decided to check it out - and I loved it. I was about the only person there, alone with paintings worth millions of dollars, two feet in front of me. Most of the paintings are from the Impressionist period - my favorite era - a lot of innocence and sweetness (hey - that is just like me!). What a great gem of a museum!
