Summary edit

Description
English: A cure required ! Fascinating late medieval graffito in the south porch of St.Chad's church. Superstitious belief held that if a representation of an afflicted body part was carved by the south door of the parish church, a cure would be forthcoming. We can only speculate what cure was required here !
