Summary

Description
English: A failed quarry immediately behind Chwarel Fawr There are a number of trial workings in the narrow zone separating Chwarel Fawr and Chwarel Cefn Du. Most are very shallow, but it is obvious that work here went beyond the mere exploratory stage. The roadway from the excavation leads to waste tip.
