1. Lower pit of Glynrhonwy Lower Quarry - the bomb store (right of the electricity pole). 2. Middle pit of Glynrhonwy Lower Quarry - in the woodland. 3. Upper pit of Glynrhonwy Lower Quarry - the large rectangular excavation. 4. Lower pit of Glynrhonwy Upper Quarry. 5. Upper pit of Glynrhonwy Upper Quarry - each fringed by large waste runs. 6. Cook&Ddol Quarries (Y Ddol is the pit on the left) 7. Cefn Du Quarry with its massive waste runs. 8. Beyond, and out of view is Chwarel Fawr. |
