Description

A few days ago, I had stumbled upon the communal roost of this species and found several. So we headed there early morning before sunrise to catch them in the good light with the sun against them. But only few of them remained with the rest flew away. The male was ready to fly and was very shy. It was perched on a eye height pole close to the road. We couldn't believe our luck and hoped for a full frame shot with a beautiful background. But if something is too good to be true, it is! The bird simply flew away east into the sun.
