English: A narrow shaded path. This short section which skirts the southern edge of Martham Broad leads through a woodland. The public footpath follows the Somerton Boat Dyke > 1107313 veering off in northwesterly direction and leading past Martham Broad Nature Reserve. At the northwestern edge of the broad it follows the course of the River Thurne > 1096272 all the way to Martham Ferry > 851941 further to the west. A track > 1096292 along the way, however, links with Damgate Lane > 929498 in the village of Martham, offering a shorter route. |
