Sunrise Panorama
Summary
editDescriptionA panorama of sunrises at the solstices and equinoxes.jpg |
English: This is a composite panorama of three sunrises, showing the sun's path in the sky at the solstices and equinoxes.
Three separate time-lapse photographs were made of a sunrise, once on the summer solstice (the left or more northerly sunrise), once on the winter solstice (the right or more southerly sunrise), and once on the spring equinox (the central sunrise). Each time-lapse photograph consists of a single background photograph taken just before sunrise, on which was stacked a series of photographs taken with a solar filter, showing the disk of the sun in the sky as it rose. The three separate time-lapse photographs were then blended together into a single composite. |
