| Description | Manual exposure, 1/200s, F/4.5, F=14 mm (equiv. 79 mm), ISO 100; i-Contrat off. The only postprocessing done was done to compensate slight differences in the field of view -- no curves, no noise reduction etc. See how much darker the picture is compared to the variant with i-Contrast on. Load both pictures in a graphics editor and compare the histograms. This test pair clearly shows that when i-Contrast is on a different tone curve is applied. |
