From the back: "He went to Prison for His Stater -- In his latest de luxe production, For Freedom, William Farnum, the William Fox star, is seen in the role of a man who goes to prison to save his sister's good name. In prison he raises the question whether a convict has the right to fight for his country. As portrayed by Farnum, the hero of For Freedom, will rank in motion picture history beside this same actor's famous characterization of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables."
