Summary edit

Description
English: Title: A six-foot-tall woodcarving by Russ Eichenberger at the West Texas Trail Museum in Moorcroft, Wyoming, where herds of Texas longhorn cattle pushed through in the late 1800s. Homesteaders followed, giving the town its start. Eichenberger calls his cowpoke, which once held up his mailbox at home but is displayed here next to a cow hide, "Slim." Not seen but sitting at his master's feet is another Eichenberger carving, of Slim's faithful dog "Spot"
