Two water-colour sketches by an unknown artist in April 1814 of a sculptured stele (graveslab) found at Dhampur in Rohilkhand and a trisula (the trident symbol of the god Siva) at Chandi Pahar opposite Haridwar, Uttar Pradesh. Inscribed on the front of the image in ink is: a. 'Ancient Sculpture found near a Well at Dampore (Dhampur) in Rohilkhand. April 1814. The figures are much' 'mutilated & defaced & the small figures above particularly doubtful.b. The Trishoolum at Chandu Paar opposite to Hurdwar. April 1814.
