| Description |
English: A surprise has "sprung". This very muddy, quagmirish area was an unexpected hazard as my journey along the Viking Way continued. A closer look revealed that the pools of water had been formed by a small "brooklet" of running water, probably originating in the hills out of sight to the right. For the record there had been no real appreciable rain for a month in the area. |
