Description
English: A tired police officer standing guard on the perimeter of the ROC Executive Yuan (行政院) takes respite on top of his riot shield. Thousands of police officers all around Taiwan have been sent to the capital city of Taipei to help maintain order. Many have worked multiple shifts with little sleep as the KMT-led government maintains a battle of attrition against student protestors camped out at the ROC Legislative Yuan (行政院).
