Description
English: In this image, is an ongoing traditional holi skit of Sangla. The two kings are planning to attack one another. But they end up hugging each other. It symbolizes victory of inner good over inner evil and love over hate. There are many other skits like these that are held in front of all the locals of Sangla propagating the message of loving each other and not letting the evil win.

The third character in the middle is also part of the skit. There is another character who is supposed to be mischievous and is roaming around and pestering the locals who are watching these processions.

The locals of Sangla and nearby villages gather together in one place for the festival of Holi. They celebrate it by daubing holi colours to each other, dancing, drinking, watching traditional skits and going around to nearby places as a group while chanting or rather singing "Holi hai". Which translates to 'it's holi'.

The celebration lasts a whole week.
