English: A view across Y Maes towards the now closed RAE airfield at Llanbedr The two hangars are visible in this view. The airfield was used by the Royal Aircraft Establishment, and subsequently DERA (Defence Evaluation and Research Agency) to launch pilot-less target drones. The base was closed in October 2004.
