Description
English: Wounded Viet Cong on a stretcher is given swift medical aid by Australian Corporal Bob Howe of Granville, NSW, during Operation Abilene, a search and destroy mission involving Australian troops thirty five miles from Saigon. The Communist soldier was caught in an Australian ambush. He was taken to a landing field nearby and sent to hospital by air.
