DescriptionAbandoned bathtub below Poundbury hillfort - geograph.org.uk - 96541.jpg |
English: Abandoned bathtub below Poundbury hillfort. Beyond the fence to the right: the railway line. In the distance: the course of the Roman aqueduct that supplied water to Dorchester. The slope on the left: leads up to the ramparts of Poundbury hillfort. The bathtub is unlikely to be there as a cattle trough, it had a hole in the bottom. More likely that it was a Last of the Summer Wine style downhill bathtub toboggoning vehicle. |
