Description
Français : Fondés dans la 2ème partie du XIe s. par Guillaume le Conquérant, duc de Normandie et futur roi d'Angleterre qui y est inhumé, à l'ouest de la ville les bâtiments, formant un vaste ensemble avec l'église St-Etienne attenante, sont amplement remaniés jusqu'au XVIIIe. L'abbaye abrite depuis 1963 l'hôtel de ville.
