Description
Canadian English: The Mawddach Estuary from Barmouth (Barmouth), Gwynedd in the country of Wales. Bermo (Barmouth) is situated near the mouth of the River Mawddach on the shore of Cardigan Bay in the Meirionnydd region.

A large railway bridge crosses the river near the town. The Barmouth railway bridge, which carries the Welsh Coast Line over the River Mawddach, which is also a footbridge, is one of the longest wooden bridges in the countries of Britain. The wood was threatened by a toredo worm but was restored, allowing the trains to travel up to Pwllheli. [Translated from the Welsh Wikipedia] The estuary is within Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri National Park.

Cymraeg: Aber y Mawddach o Abermaw (Bermo), Gwynedd. Lleolir y Bermo ger aber Afon Mawddach ar lan Bae Ceredigion yn ardal Meirionnydd; mae pont reilffordd fawr yn croesi'r afon yn ymyl y dref. Mae pont reilffordd Abermaw, sy'n cludo Rheilffordd Arfordir Cymru dros Afon Mawddach, sydd hefyd yn bont droed, yn un o bontydd pren hiraf gwledydd Prydain. Cafodd y coed ei fygwth gan bry genwair toredo ond fe'i adferwyd, gan alluogi'r trenu i fynd hyd at Pwllheli.
