English: Aberystwyth Harbour Quay The track of the Vale of Rheidol harbour branch ran along the quay here until it closed in the 1920's through lack of traffic. Timber and silver-lead ore were transshipped to quayside ships from the railway wagons. There has never been any indication of a run round loop anywhere on the branch so the wagons would need to have been propelled along the short line. |
