Description
Abraham receiving the three angels. To the right two angels are sitting at a table. To the left Abraham kneels holding a gilt jug. In the doorway behind them Sarah listens to the prophecy. Part of five paintings that served as wall hangings of the achterzaal (back room) of Nieuwegracht 6 in Utrecht. Of the sixth wall hanging by Jan van Bijlert only a fragment remained, now in the Centraal Museum in Utrecht.
