Description
עברית: התל מתנשא לגובה של 21 מטרים, והוא אחד משלושה תילים הצופים אל מפגשם של נחל הירקון ונחל איילון (שני האחרים הם תל נפוליאון ותל קסילה). בתל נמצאו קברים מהתקופה ההלניסטית וחרסים מהתקופות הרומית הקדומה, הביזנטית והערבית הקדומה, עד המאה ה-8. ארכאולוגים סבורים כי באתר שכן יישוב כפרי שומרוני, בדומה ליישוב שהתקיים בתל קסילה מצידו הצפוני של הנחל. במקום הוכשר גן בשטח של 13.5 דונם, ובו הפסל "מפרשיות" של רוני בן צבי (1995). עוד נמצאים באתר גת ומבנה עתיק בלתי מזוהה.
