Description
Deutsch: Das ehemalige Verwaltungsgebäude der Gaswerke von Hannover, Osterstraße 31 (eine Hausnummer 29 war bisher nicht vorhanden) war eines der letzten erhaltenen Gebäude in der Innenstadt von Hannover, die die Luftangriffe auf Hannover im Zweiten Weltkrieg überstanden hatten. Das von dem Architekten Wilhelm Mackensen errichtete Gebäude weicht einem Neubaukomplex des Berliner Architekturbüros Kleihues + Kleihues (das auch die Gestaltung des neuen Kröpcke-Centers verantwortet) für die Deutsche Hypo, einer Tochter der Nord-LB.
