gewesen. So aber hat es das
Schicksal anders bestimmt, und nun
bitte ich Dich nochmals, lasse Dich
von diesem Schicksalsschlag nicht
umwerfen, sondern denke immer
an Deine, an unsere Kinder,
die Dich, ihre Mutti, doch noch so
notwendig brauchen. Erziehe
sie zu braven, rechtschaffenen
Menschen und lasse ihnen, je nach
Veranlagung und Neigung, etwas
ordentliches lernen. In unseren
Kindern lebe ja auch ich weiter,
und Du wirst sicher noch viel
Freude an ihnen erleben.
Ich hoffe, daß der Krieg doch ein
baldiges, siegreiches Ende nimmt.
und Ihr dann in einem freien
Großdeutschland glücklich und in
Frieden leben könnt. Dann sind
die Opfer des Krieges nicht um-
sonst gewesen!
