English: #Hydrogen enters the pipe with liquid ammonia
- Ammonia+hydrogen enter the inner compartment of the refrigerator. Change in partial pressure causes ammonia to evaporate. Energy is being drawn from the surroundings - this causes the cooling effect
- Ammonia+hydrogen return from the inner part, ammonia returns back to absorber and dissolves in water. Hydrogen is free to rise upwards
- Ammonia gas condensation (passive cooling);
- Hot ammonia (gas)
- Heat insulation and separation of water from ammonia gas
- Heat source (electric)
- Absorber vessel (water + ammonia solution)

Deutsch: # Wasserstoffgas trifft auf flüssiges Ammoniak
- Das Ammoniak-Wasserstoffgemisch erreicht den im Kühlschrank befindlichen Verdampfer. Durch verringerung des Partialdrucks verdampft das flüssige Ammoniak und lässt den Systemdruck steigen. Die erforderliche Verdampfungswärme wird der Umgebung entzogen und erzielt den damit den gewünschte Kühleffekt.
- Das gasförmige Ammoniak und das Wasserstoffgas strömt zum Absorber (7), darin löst sich das Ammoniakgas im Wasser, der Systemdruck sinkt. Das verbleibende Wasserstoffgas steigt aufwärts.
- Verflüssigung des gasförmigen Ammoniaks durch Wärmeabgabe über die am Rohr angebrachten Kühllamellen
- Heißes, gasförmiges Ammoniak
- Wärmeisolierung um den Kocher
- Wärmequelle für den Kocher (hier: elektrische Beheizung)
- Absorberbehälter (Wasser-Ammoniak-Gemisch)
