Summary
editDescriptionAbutments of Mid Wales Railway bridge - geograph.org.uk - 901824.jpg |
English: Abutments of Mid Wales Railway bridge These stone abutments carried a bridge of the Mid Wales Railway, on its route from Llanidloes south. Here the railway crossed a minor side valley of the Afon Dulas on a massive embankment; there was a similar bridge about 250 metres north, across an agricultural access, and another carrying the Manchester and Milford Railway across this road close by, the abutments of both of which also remain standing. |
