Description Academia da Força Aérea (AFA) em Pirassununga. O maior avião de transporte em uso pela FAB, o lendário Hercules C-130, presente no Domingo Aéreo 2015. Os Hercules estão em uso na FAB desde 1964, sendo utilizados na versão C-130E. Em 1975, form recebidos os primeiros C-130H (com motores mais fortes e sonda de reabastecimento em voo para outros aviões) Em 23 de agosto de 1983 um Hercules (2463) fez história ao pousar um avião brasileiro pela primeira vez no Continente Antártico, Em 2001, foram adquiridos os últimos C-130H da Aeronautica Militari Italiana (AMI). Eles serão substituídos brevemente pelos jatos da EMBRAER KC-390, que estão sendo testados.
