Description
English: Looking at the east side of the new main building of the Academy of American Studies, at the southwest corner of 29th Street and 40th Avenue in Dutch Kills, Long Island City, Queens. The new building was constructed on the parking lot behind their sister school Newcomers High School, which they previously shared space with. Note the "myelin sheath" power lines in front of the building, commonly found near newly-constructed or renovated buildings.
