Description
Русский: Иван Прокофьев. "Актеон, преследуемый собаками". 1784. Бронза. ГРМ. Эта работа была выполнена по академической программе вскоре по возвращения скульптора из пенсионерской поездки в Париж. За гипсовый вариант, изначально хранившийся в музее Академии художеств (ныне - НИМ РАХ), Прокофьев в 1785 году получил звание академика. В 1824 году по решению Общества поощрения художниеов был сделан литейщиком В.П. Екимовым данный бронзовый отлив, поднесенный в 1827 году императору Николаю I. В собрании ГТГ хранится еще один отлив в бронзе, выполненный в 1911 году по заказу ИАХ.
