Description

Acting Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs and Acting Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Alice G. Wells completed a two-day visit in Bangladesh, August 29-30, 2017. While in Dhaka, Ambassador Wells met with Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali on August 29 at the Padma Guest House and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Prime Minister’s Office on August 30.

Ambassador Wells also had roundtable discussions with business leaders, political leaders, and civil society representatives.
