Title
Adams Street, Toledo, Ohio
Description
A postcard from the Ken Levin Toledo Postcard Collection, donated by Toledo resident, Ken Levin. Mr. Levin's collection was published by the Toledo Blade in a book entitled "You Will Do Better in Toledo: From Frogtown to Glass City," edited by Sandy and John R. Husman. This colored postcard shows the 400 and 300 blocks of Adams Street in Toledo, Ohio. Its title was taken from the front of the card. The perspective is eastward from Superior Street. A sign for the Victory Theater is visible on the left side of the street; the Valentine Theatre is next to it. Trinity Church is just slightly visible after the Valentine. Handwritten information on the back of the card indicates the card was addressed to Miss Bertha Miller, 1843 West 5th Street, Dayton, Ohio. The card is postmarked August 1, 1911.
