Deutsch: Vom Archiv-Abteilungsleiter Dr. Gustav Bodenstein unterzeichnetes Schriftstück aus den Akten des Österreichischen Staatsarchivs Wien, Allgemeines Verwaltungsarchiv, Adelsarchiv: Adelsakt Banfield-Mumb von Mühlhaim, österreichischer Adelsstand für die Brüder Ferdinand (k.u.k. Hauptmann des bosnisch-herzegowinischen Feldjäger-Bataillons Nr. 3) und Karl Banfield (k.u.k. Hauptmann der Luftschifferabteilung, überkomplett im Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 87) sowie Namensvereinigung mit der im Mannesstamm erloschenen freiherrlichen Familie Mumb von Mühlhaim in der Nenn- und Schreibweise "Banfield-Mumb von Mühlhaim" durch Allerhöchstes Handschreiben von Kaiser Karl I. (Reichenau/Rax am 29. August 1918), Diplom nicht ausgefertigt. Karl und Ferdinand Banfield (-Mumb von Mühlhaim) waren die Brüder des Marinefliegers Gottfried Banfield, der 1917 als Ritter des Militär-Maria-Theresien-Ordens den österreichischen Freiherrenstand erlangte.
