| Description | A strong force of the anti-riot Aden Police arrived mid-morning and, employing baton charges and tear gas grenades, took some 90 minutes before the crowd finally dispersed. The Ferret armoured car arrived at about 09.00 hrs as the escort to the Commanding officer, Lt. Col. John Dymoke whose Land Rover is out of shot. The CO had arrived at my location to see for himself the evolving disturbances. |
