Description
Deutsch: Eine Apotheke (ursprünglich in der Brunnenstraße) wurde bereits 1642 durch Balthasar Horst, einen Bruder des gräflichen Leibarztes, gegründet. 1819 ersteigerte Apotheker Döring das reformierte Pfarrhaus mit Schule auf Abbruch und errichtete den Neubau. Seit 1893 Adler-Apotheke. Breitgelagerter siebenachsiger Putzbau mit flachem Walmdach, betontem Traufgesims, Zwerchhaus und zwei Gauben. Abschluss der Zeile zum Jahn-Platz. Im Obergeschoss Apotheken-Museum. Älteste Apotheke im Taunus.
