After gathering signatures at Queen Charlotte Sound, Henry Williams sailed to Rangitoto Island on the Ariel. Here, on 11 May 1840, thirteen rangatira signed the Cook Strait sheet (www.flickr.com/photos/archivesnz/12195249795). Many of these were of Ngāti Kōata.
