| Description | Ausstellung des Tonmodells des Schillerstandbilds für das spätere Schillerdenkmal in Stuttgart (Werkverzeichnis 15) im Jahr 1905. Die noch fehlende Modellierung des Gewandes ersetzte Donndorf durch ein Gewand aus feinem Gewebe, das er um die Figur drapierte. Lorbeerkranz, Leier und Sandalen der Statue wurden vergoldet. Hinter der Statue spannte Donndorf einen Sternenhimmel auf, „um den Eindruck der Apotheose vollständig zu machen“. Siehe: Ulrike Fuchs: Der Bildhauer Adolf Donndorf. Leben und Werk.
