View NE from near Goose Hollow to the Willamette River. The Portland Academy, established in 1896, can be seen in the center foreground. [No caption.] Location approximated based on the location of the Portland Academy at 14th St. and Montgomery.

Presumably, despite the title, a view from a high hill, not an aerial view.
