Summary edit
DescriptionAerial view of Two-Tree Island, eastern tip - geograph.org.uk - 1565141.jpg |
English: Aerial view of Two-Tree Island, eastern tip The eastern tip of Two-Tree Island lies within square TQ8385. It has a series of pools and dykes which attract birds, especially in the autumn. The extensive salt marsh to the right is rather bleached in August, but will form a roosting area for waders in winter at high tide. The buildings at the centre-right are those around Leigh station. Behind then are the green Belton Hills. Further along the coast above right of centre is Old Leigh. |
