Description
English: Afon Tywi near Craig Ddol-goch, Ceredigion The Afon Tywi (River Towy) flows from its source in the southern Cambrian Mountains to its estuary in Carmarthen Bay.'Tywi' probably signifies still and deep flowing, though it is unclear exactly where on its course the name originated, certainly not here. The road on the left is the renowned mountain road between Tregaron and Abergwesyn, a highly scenic and much driven route in the summer, though impassable in icy winter conditions.
