Den Verkaufserfolg der Agfa-Kameras in den 50ern kann man auch daran ablesen, dass bei den Objektiven gelegentlich das Schneidersche Radionar "aushelfen" musste - wie auch bei dieser Silette. Das war keinesfalls eine Notlösung, mir gefällt das Radionar eigentlich eine Spur besser als das Agnar, das ja auch kein schlechter Dreilinser ist. Die Billy Record war gewissermaßen die vorletzte Stufe der Agfa-6x9-Kameras. Während die ersten Nachkriegs-Billys noch mit Klapp- und Brillantsuchern ausgestattet waren, hatte die Billy Record I einen optischen Sucher. Auch ein Gehäuseauslöser war jetzt Standard. Zu den abschließenden Record -Modellen war dann kein großer Unterschied mehr: Die hatten einen neu gestalteten Sucheraufsatz und eine Doppelbelichtungssperre. Die Agfa Billy Record I kostete im Jahre 1952 99,- DM. Das Exportmodell dieser Kamera nannte sich Ventura 69 und hatte eine "feet"-Entfernungsskala. |
