Summary edit

Description Agoseris glauca is very common in this patch of mountain big sagebrush steppe in the Big Hole National Battlefield but it common is not flowering or else has its flowering stalks grazed off. The hairy (villous) leaves with sometimes stellate hairs, and especially the hairy flowering heads, suggest this population belongs to Agoseris glauca var. dasycephala.
